Recall of Favoto H-1 Helmets

At Favoto, the safety and trust of our users are at the heart of everything we do. To ensure every rider receives the most reliable protection possible, we maintain rigorous and ongoing quality monitoring across our entire product line.

We have identified that certain H-1 model helmets sold on Amazon.com may not meet positional stability, labeling and certification requirements. The helmets can fail to protect the user in the event of a crash, posing a serious risk of injury. While we have not received any reports of injuries related to this issue, we are taking proactive measures out of an abundance of caution and responsibility toward our customers. In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), we are conducting a voluntary recall of the Favoto H-1 Bicycle Helmet (Youth Large).

How to Identify Your Helmet

This recall involves approximately 2,200 units of the Favoto Model H-1 bike helmets sold exclusively on Amazon.com from April 2023 through January 2026 for between $20 and $27.

Product Details:

  • Model:Favoto H-1 (Size: Youth Large / L).
  • Appearance:Black helmet body with red stripes and black padding. A black plastic knob at the back for fitting adjustment.

Remedy: Full Refund

If you purchased the helmet, Please stop using it immediately to ensure your protection and you are eligible for a full refund. To help us process your request safely and efficiently, please follow these simple steps:

1. Destroy the Helmet: Use scissors or a knife to cut the chin straps.  

2. Mark the Helmet: Write the word "Recalled" in permanent marker on a visible part of the helmet.  

3. Submit Proof: Take a clear photo of the destroyed helmet (showing the cut straps and the word "Recalled") and email it to safety@favoto.com.
